HUBUNGAN KANDUNGAN NUTRIEN (N dan P ) DALAM SEDIMEN TERHADAP KERAPATAN LAMUN DI PULAU LANGKAI KOTA MAKASSAR
Contents of nutrients have an important role in seagrass growth. The purpose of this research is to know Relationship the content of nurtiens (Nitrogen and phosphate ) in sediments to seagrass density. This research did since Juli-September 2021 in langkai island makassar city. Seagrass and sediments Measurement used quadratic transect 50x50 cm in 3 observation stations. The result of these research indicate the type of sediment grain who dominates each station is coarse sand with a particel size 1 mm and found 3 types of seagrass namely Enhalus acaroides, thalassia hemprichii and Cymodocea rotundata and type seagrass dominate is thalassia hemprichii. The highest Seagrass density found in station 3 with density score of 184,7 ind/m2 then followed station 2 with density score 134,2 ind/m2 and The lowest seagrass density in station 1 with density score 49,2 ind/m2. The result of nitrogen content analysis in sediment obtained the highest in station 2 and 3 namely 0,44% and the lowest in station 1 namely 0,2% while the result of phosphate content analysis in sediment obtained the highest in station 2 and 3 namely 8,76 and 9,25 ppm and the lowest in station 1 namely 5,82 ppm.Based on multiple correlation test the relationship nitrogen content and phosphate content in seagrass density obtained significance correlation score F change 0.013 which p<0,05 means nitrogen content and phosphate in sediments simultaneously have close relationship with seagrass density in langkai island with the level of R=0.550 and the level correlation namely medium correlation and have contribution 30,2% to seagrass density with multiple regression equation Y=-52,317 + 120,109 X1 + 16,638 X2.
